The challenge
BiotechBeauty is a founder-led, science-driven skincare brand. The founder had a clear brand vision and zero interest in becoming a web developer — she needed her store migrated to Shopify and redesigned into something that looked as credible as the science behind her products, without having to learn the technical side herself.
What I did
I handled the migration and built the new storefront end to end: theme build and redesign, the brand and science story pages, email list migration and marketing setup, plus the operational pieces — rewards, shipping integration and customer chat. At handoff I left her with the resources and guidance to run and grow the store independently.
A year later she brought me back for a second engagement: an analytics audit that separated bot and data-center traffic from real-user performance data, followed by conversion-focused improvements to the homepage and product pages.
