The challenge
J.ING is a women's contemporary fashion brand selling direct to consumer. They were on Magento — powerful, but heavy to run for a lean ecommerce team — and needed to relaunch on Shopify without losing their catalog or momentum.
What I did
I worked alongside their web/IT team as the Shopify specialist on the migration: planning the approach, importing the product catalog via CSV with all its variants intact, and integrating Instagram so their social storefront and website worked together.
A migration like this is mostly project management done well — researching options, proposing solutions, and clarifying what the team actually needed before building it. That's the part their CMO called out afterwards.
The results
A successful Shopify launch, an in-house team that came out of the project knowing their new platform, and a store that's still running on Shopify today.
